Should students learn about world relgions in public schools?

  • My Reasoning Why

Children out their should know about the different religions out their. It is good for people to know if they want to believe in something else. Any can learn as a way to help understand different culture and what they believe in. I love to learn what other people believe in.

  • Well-Rounded Education is Best

Student should learn about world religions in schools as part of a well-rounded education. Learning about religions doesn't necessarily advocate for one over another. It's just that as many religions should be included in the work. Especially in the United States, there are Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs and Pagans for students to learn about.

  • Yes, they should

In ancient times religion was the centerpiece of society. Throughout the ages there has been a rich religious culture across the globe. It has shaped the world we know today. Children should learn all different religious viewpoints so that they should form their own. Atheism should be included as well.

  • Not All Religions Are Friendly

Some religions might hurt those who join but disagree to their orders. For example: If the leader tells one follower to worship the holy statue and they disagree, they can be punished in a harmful way. Maybe some religions injure those who disagree or might even kill those who disagree.
