Should students rely on technology for their education?

  • It's useful and amazing

It is very useful for us, especially in all the students. It has a lot of benefits. Good and bad effects is now I already know. Thanks for these. Keep up the good work. No bad words, as long as you want to express yourself just know your limitations and never cross the line of any expectations.

  • Calculators save time!

Who doesn't need to save time? Every body does. On timed tests, it is vital that you have a calculator to solve the problems, precisely and quickly. My friend without calculator can not do 76*27 until 1 minute. Mu other friend with a calculator can do it in 9.34 seconds. See the difference?...

  • Technology Necessary for Any Education

Go into any high school classroom today and most students take notes on laptop computers. Elementary school kids learn on computers in their school's computer lab. Teenagers have cell phones and most modern jobs rely on some kind of personal computer. Today's students most certainly master technology before entering the workforce. There are very few tasks that don't require technology today.

  • The future will be filled with technology

Learning from technology is preparing us for our future. In a ever growing world with technology advancing every 3 months it is a must for children to understand technology. Relying on technology is not a bad thing. It can be a better method of learning compared to human teachers in many matters

  • Students shouldnt rely on technology

I am not saying that technology is a bad thing, in fact it can be a great thing when it comes to education. My problem with it is that it makes students more dull and lazy when it comes to learning in a sense. We feel that because we have this technology that i can do most of the work for us, so in turn we don't try as hard to understand and just let the machine do everything. It is best to learn the proper way and then use technology afterwards when you have a full understanding.

  • No

Technology can be a great boon to students, and they should be given every chance to benefit from it, but they should not rely on technology. They should still be able to take notes with a pencil and paper, they should still be able to do research from a book, and they should still be able to do math without needing a calculator or computer. These are important skills that are not going away.

  • Use it? Yes. Rely on it? No.
