Most teens know if they say something, they are taking a risk by possibly hurting someone. If they know that what they want to say can hurt, and most likely WILL hurt, they won't say it. Simple as that. We can make our own decisions. We need some independence in our lives, and this is a great start.
Teens should be able to state their opinion on social media. They are Americans, just like every one else in this nation. And just like every other American, teens are entitled to freedom of speech, which means that as long as what they are saying does not create a clear and present danger, they can say whatever they feel like.
The main cause of bullying starts on social media. It starts off as stating your opinion than people think it's about them and than it starts a fight and than one person gets teamed up on by a whole group of people. If you have something to say, than say it to someone's face. Thank you
