  • 2 Words, Record Breaker

He was 1 return away from breaking the great Dion Sanders record. He said that he wanted to break it with the bears and not any other team. Devin is my favorite player i i would love to say that he broke all of his records with the Bears. And keeping Cutler is just really stupid.

  • Devin Hester should resign with the bears.

Yes, bears should have resigned with Hester. Yes, they should have resigned Devin Hester. According to Phil Emery “Devin has redefined the pinnacle standard of the return position in the NFL, and the memories and contributions he has given us cannot be measured by stats or numbers.” He later went on to say that “Devin is not only a special player, he is also an exceptional person, and is a great team mate.” He was also a great special team’s leader and it showed when he made big plays. According to espn.Com he’s returned punts for a total of 3,241 yards and 13 touchdowns, and as returned kicks a total of 5,510 yards and 5 touchdowns in his 9 year career, and is the NFL’s all-time leader in total kick return touchdowns. • Yes, If you mean cut him

He was once a great player, but most speed players fade in their later years. He is no exception, but he was once the best return man in the game. He did decent as a wide receiver, but never lived up to the hype. Its time they got better receivers in there core. Jay Cutler is in need for a more talented core.

  • Bears Should Resign Hester

Devin Hester is famously known as being one of the best kickoff/punk returners in the entire NFL. He returns several touchdowns basically every season. When the Bears resigned him, they were doing their team a favor. Special teams are extremely important in the NFL because of the benefits good field position can provide.

  • He wasn't successful.

No, the Bears should not have resigned Devin Hester, because they wanted to go a different route. They just weren't successful for them. His statistics were quite good as a return specialist, but he just didn't contribute that much to team success. They should try someone else to see what they can do.

  • Devin Hester was past his prime

Even to people who aren't regular observers of the National Football League (NFL) it was clear that Devin Hester was past his prime. He looked slower on the field, wasn't hitting all his marks, and had begun to create a noticeable drag on his team. It was best that the Bears didn't resign him.
