  • Should the Berlin Wall be rebuilt

In the democratic Republic of Germany in the early 1961 the Berlin Wall was built bordering West Berlin over the years East Germans have defected to the west and west Germans have defected to the east, in 1989 with the cold war and German reunification was almost coming the Berlin Wall collapsed and the following year Germany was reunified in 2016 following reunification migrants have crossed from Syria and Africa and to stop migration coming in to Britain the Berlin Wall should be rebuilt

  • Its history yay

I love how the Berlin wall was so cool and divided Germany and it should be rebuilt to change the world. I HATE THE PEACE OF THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WALL REBUILD IT AND PEOPLE WILL BE ANGRY ANGER ANGRY ANGER ANGRY ANGER ANGRY ANGER ANGRY ANGER ANGRY ANGER ANGRY

  • The wall kept us safe from commies

Ever since the Wall came down, commies have been able to walk willy nilly from the east to the west. Now, everywhere you go in the west, there are commies with Che Guevara t-shirts, conducting un-American activities in France. The Soviets started the "Occupy Movement" by occupying Poland, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, etc. But without the wall, that commie movement has moved west. If the Wall was rebuilt, commies would stay in East Berlin where they belong.

Also, it's ridiculous that East and West Germany are able to compete on the same team in the Olympics. It isn't fair to all the other countries. Rebuilding the Wall would help.

  • Rebuild the wall!

The GDR was a peaceful and prosperous place to be. That country was eliminated by the Western capitalist ideal and has proved to one and all that the "old country" needs to be reinstated. Only through the rebuilding of the wall can a permanent peace be ensured and the new GDR would prosper again

  • Being united is important

We will not stand being ruled by tyranny
People have the right to live in harmony
we will not stand evil or division. Communi9sts are evil people
and the berlin wall nearly caused a nuclear war.
Do not repeat history. Ww3 nearly started because of it.
    Fight evil and live peacefully

  • The Berlin wall should be be rebuilt

The Berlin wall was built when soviet Russia controlled part of Germany. Its sole purpose was to separate the prosperous western side from the poor, poverty ridden eastern side. The wall was a sign of Russian dominance but really served no purpose. The wall going up would be a sign of oppression, it should never be rebuilt.

  • No. Germany is one country.

Germany has been one country since it was reunified in the early 1990s. There is no reason to rebuild the Berlin Wall. Tiny portions were left standing as a memorial and that is all that is necessary for us to remember the past. I cannot see any purpose for rebuilding a wall that no longer has the purpose of separating two countries.

  • No

It should not take a wall to separate any one or any country. The wall should not be rebuilt because it creates a visual division of the countries. It can also bring back bad memories of the past and all of the bad things that came along with the wall being there before.

  • NO of course not

Society should not be divided. We are at a time of history when we become closer and closer to other countries, why divide and go backwards?

The division of Germany was a horrible useless act in history: people, families, history, culture separated by a wall because of politics. This should never happen again.

In a world where you can reach your friend in an other countries by taking the plane, we should aim to be united than divided.
