Should the EU Roma Strategy influence individual member states' policy regarding this matter?

  • Hasn't Helped Thus Far

I believe the EU Roma Strategy should try to influence individual member states regarding the integration of the Roma. Thus far the strategy has not helped the daily lives of the Roma despite the commissions work to improve it. Trying to get neighbor states to support this initiative should be considered vital.

  • EU Roma Strategy

I personally think that EU Roma strategy influence individual member states' pol because of the states comprise and power to the European Union. I personally think that EU Roma strategy has the same states following the strategies of the larger governing body. I personally think that EU Roma strategy is necessary whether individual states believe that to be the truth.

  • They need to work together.

Yes, the EU Roma Strategy should influence member states' policy regarding this matter, because the EU does absolutely no good if all its member states do is show up to look good. A coordinated response is important, and the EU can form a coordinated response as a group. It does no good if the member states don't form their own policies based on the EU decision on the Roma.

  • Member States Should Follow EU on Roma

Member states should follow the EU's Roma strategy. Of course, member states comprise and give power to the European Union. Therefore, these same states should follow the strategies of the larger governing body. Roma integration is necessary whether individual states believe that to be the truth, and integration benefits everyone.

  • Yes, they should collaborate.

Yes, the EU Roma strategy should influence individual member states' policy regarding this matter, because the European Union is a collaborative body that needs to work together. It will not resolve the issue to pass a resolution in the EU. The member states need to put that resolution into practice in their own countries for the policy to be effective.
