Should the federal government upgrade the healthcare system?

  • The healthcare of the US is inefficient

For many decades, the healthcare system in the US has been inefficient and corrupt. Healthcare companies do not care for those who need healthcare, and instead are only concerned about how much money they can make. This is why a federal healthcare system is inevitable, not only because the US is one of the few developed countries without one, but also because we must not allow corporations to keep robbing those people they represent.

  • Healthcare is Not the Federal Government's Responsibility

Healthcare in the United States is a private industry, and therefore none of the federal government's business. The federal government needs to stay out of healthcare and individual health choices. Private industry has always and continues to drive the healthcare industry to greater technological advancements and better treatments, and there is nothing that federal interference can do to help this, it could only slow things down.
