Should the government be involved with regulating marriage (who can get married, etc.)?

  • Send marriage back to the church!

Relationships should not need government approval. No person should receive benefit or punishment due to marital status. Anyone that marry's because of the government benefits does not deserve benefits. Government providing benefits to a person based on a sleeping arraignments has gone on long enough, end government authorizing personal relationships.

  • Shouldn't be a Government Concern.

Marriage is a commitment to another before God, as such it is part of religious and personal freedom. The government should not be allowed to regulate marriage due to the separation of church and state. Uncle Sam needs to butt out of peoples personal, sexual, and spiritual business. If consenting adults want to wed no one should stop them. Period.
