Should the government ensure the availability of jobs to citizens if private businesses continue to ship jobs overseas?

  • Government should ensure jobs to it's citizens if private businesses continue to ship jobs overseas.

Government should ensure jobs to its citizens if private businesses continue to ship jobs overseas. The government of any country should have a duty to it's own citizens for a life of opportunity made on the foundation of hard work. When the work is unavailable so to goes the opportunity. We all have a right to a good life and chances to exceed in whatever field of study or work the world has to offer.

  • Not Even Possible

It doesn't matter if some people think government should ensure the availability of jobs, that's not even a possibility. The government can't force employers to hire a certain person and they can't provide jobs for everyone. Economically that would tear down the system. Businesses need to be more socially responsible, that would solve a lot of our problems.

  • Government should not assure jobs

The government should not be responsible for assuring jobs to citizens if private businesses continue to ship jobs overseas. In America, we have a very unique opportunity to create our own level of income through many different means. More people should be encouraged to follow their dreams and expand on the knowledge they have rather than relying on the government to provide jobs.

  • We are not communist.

No, the government should not ensure the availability of jobs to citizens if private businesses continue to ship jobs overseas, because we are not communist. If those jobs go overseas, people can either start their own businesses or they can find jobs in other fields. The government is not our nanny state.
