  • It is a business.

    It makes money as do other enterprises, it would be unfair to tax a shop but not the NFL which sells merchandise and pays employees, just as a regular retailer would do, in addition the NFL makes so much money that taxation would help the economy but not affect the NFL's buiiness as a whole.

  • It's a business, TAX them

    They should not be tax exempt. All that revenue we are missing out on is revenue we could use. Other businesses, more important businesses don't get tax exempt status. What about private schools? They have to pay taxes. All businesses should have to pay taxes and it's a business so it needs to be taxed.

    The NFL isn't revenue generating in itself. All it does it set up times, fields, refs, etc... If you are concerned about the money that you are missing out on, its in the teams. The teams are the ones who pay their players, stadium's and other expenses and salaries that we could be taxing.
