Sorry but women need to be stay at home moms. I understand that they need to get out and do something but sometimes women need to sit out on somethings. Women help save the world. We lose people faster than we gain actually and lately it has been the opposite. Ladies... Stay at home and watch the kids.
Yes the Pentagon should overturn the ban on women in military roles. We should not be looking at a person's sex in determining who is most qualified for the role. Rather we should simply be looking at who is more qualified. If it is all men fine, all women fine, a mix fine.
Women are just as capable in combat as men are, especially if they can pass the same physical tests as their male counterparts. As long as military standards are the same for both sexes, I see no problem with women serving in combat roles or even being in special forces like the SEALs or Rangers.
The Pentagon should overturn the ban on women in military combat roles. Women have been in the military for years and they have proved that they can handle combat roles just as the men do. I think we should give them the same credit and the same pay rate as the men that do these jobs.
If a woman is physically capable to be in combat, and can stand up to the same requirements as her male peers, than there is nothing but mysogny that is stopping her. I believe that women should be allowed to fight for their country the same way that men can.
The pentagon should overturn the ban on women in military combat roles. This is because of the fact that women can make excellent combatants. America is supposed to be about equal rights, and women should indeed have the right to serve in military combat roles if they choose to do so.
If the women can perform to the same standards as the men in the field, they should be able to do the same tasks. However, they should NOT have lowered standards simply because they are women, as that would lower the overall quality. The ban should certainly be lifted as soon as possible.
The problem with this ban is that women have been essentially fighting in combat for many generations. They carry guns, they work in combat zones, they go on missions, and they get maimed and killed. The only problem is they don't get the combat pay or benefits that their male counterparts get. How is that right?
I believe that the Pentagon should overturn the ban on women in military combat roles. Women should have the same opportunities that men have. However, I also believe that the women who want to serve in military combat roles should be forced to qualify under the same conditions that all men quality with.
If women are to be eligible for combat roles, particularly where physical endurance and stamina is required, then they should meet the standard required for male candidates. This applies not only the entry tests but also during the course of their training and duties (carrying the same weight packs etc over the same distance during the same time period etc).
