While I don't agree with the SEC getting to involved with earnings, I think it could be beneficial for them to show the difference in pay, however even with that information I'm not completely sure what the outcome would be and if it would have a positive impact if they did release that information.
I mean we all know that CEO's of the companies get paid way more then its employees but I think It should be kept confidential. Many employees might feel discriminated against if they are less paid then the CEO. And we can't blame the employees because they work very hard for their pay. They might end up feeling discriminated.
