I think that America needs some serious immigration reform. There are too many people who were born here and had no choice in the matter who can't have normal lives because they aren't naturalized citizens. Some people don't discover they are illegal until much later in life when they try to go to school or get a job.
The Gang of Eight, consisting of four Senate Republicans and four Democrats, is trying to slip one over on the rest of the Senate. Certainly immigration reform is essential. However, this is not the way to do it. The bloated bill is too long for anyone to read, let alone understand, before voting.
