Should the slaughter of horses be allowed so that cattle can have more space?

  • Yes it should be allowed

The slaughter of horses should be allowed so that cattle can have more space, to some degree. I feel that horses should be slaughtered for meat as much as cattle, they are after all pretty much the same thing! Needless slaughter is not right, but as long as we are using the bodies to consume I see no harm in doing this

  • No, the slaughter of horses should not be allowed

No, the slaughter of horses should not be allowed. I don't think people should be slaughtering horses just so we can eat more cows. The farming of cows is already causing huge problems with the environment and the public health system. People should start eating less red meat; for their belt line and the environment.

  • No, the slaughter of horses should never be allowed.

No, the slaughter of horses should never be allowed, even if it means giving cattle more space. Why do cattle take priority over horses? Who is to say it should not be the other way around? We, as humans, should not make judgment calls as to which animal deserves to live or die.

  • Horses should not be slaughtered to make room for cattle

While more room may be needed for cattle, birth control, not slaughter would be a reasonable solution to increase space. While horses can live long lives, there are countless charitable organizations around the country that could either provide sanctuary for these creatures or even use them for rehabilitation purpose with humans.
