Should the U.S. intervene in other countries' inner affairs?

  • The US has global obligations to keep the peace

I was all for a isolationist country until I realized that the U.S. has been appointed the global watchdog. We are the moral compass for the rest of the world and because of that we have the duty to keep things going as best as we can in other countries. In cases of human rights abuse or terrorism in other countries I feel that the US should intervene.

  • The US should stay away.

The United States should not intervene in any other countries' inner affairs. It is the other countries' issues and they need to be able to solve those issues on their own. The United States has plenty of issues on their home soil and should focus on taking care of that.
