Should the U.S. look to establishing an official language (or several)?

  • The United States should establish English as an official language.

The United States should establish English as an official
language. I’m tired of immigrants coming
to this country and enjoying all of the benefits of being in America and not having
to learn English. It’s not fair to the
rest of us, and it stops us from being able to communicate.

  • US and its official language

Most countries of the world if not all recognize some form of its official or native language. While the US is unique in that we welcome all people into our borders, it is important to recognize our own cultural and historical uniqueness as well. Adopting an official language will further identify us as Americans.

  • Shrek told me

Shrek told me that I needed to pick this or else he would not give me my Christmas present this year, which was his big fat ugly but most likely expensive prototype of his ear wax. I just feel that this should have been a good topic to discus on this subject abouth me.
