If select ISIS continue they could have a lot more. But, is the US. Does something we can defeat the group of terrorists. If the US can't do it on their own they can always look for help from other countries like Russia. But again, if we don't do anything the group could grow and take over larger parts of the Middle East.
Being that the US created and armed ISIS, and is using ISIS to fight Syria and the Russians, why on earth should young American soldiers be forced to risk their lives fighting a creation of their own Government. To die for such a cause would be to die for absolutely nothing.
No, the United States should not send ground forces to the Middle East to defeat ISIS because United States troops on the ground would motivate ISIS to fight harder to defend their homeland. ISIS will also be able to recruit more soldiers because of the presence of United States forces. I believe that the United States should spend money and send military officers to train Iraqi soldiers to fight ISIS instead of deploying American troops in the Middle East.
ISIS is wrecking havoc across the Middle East and it's the responsibility of the countries in the region to get rid of ISIS. The United States cannot go and solve every nation's problems. Besides, if the Middle East gets together to battle ISIS they might end up achieving peace between themselves too.
The United States should not send ground forces to the Middle East to defeat ISIS. Our Constitution requires a "National Defense," not an "International Offense." All our presence there does is cause more resentment towards the United States. There are reasons why non-interventionists countries have no problems with ISIS. TIme to get our noses out of other people's buisness.
While I agree that ISIS is a huge threat, I do not believe we should send ground forces to fight ISIS. ISIS attacks us using car bombs and other unsophisticated methods. In my opinion, the best way to combat ISIS is with air forces. We should use drones as well as bombs dropped from airplanes to combat ISIS, and not risk American lives on the ground.
