Should the US use trade barriers to end China's human rights abuses: Is China performing egregious, and exceptional human rights violations worthy of sanctions?

    The US trade barriers against Cuba haven't worked and would be even less likely to work against a nation such as China. Several nations we trade with, sadly, violate human rights. We should discourage it, but we get so much from China it would hurt our own economy, likely not help, and be hypocritical.

  • Your Own Back Yard

    I do not think that the US should get involved. Its as simple as this you can't help someone else if you can't help yourself, and the US has to many of its own people who are abused, and taken advantage of by having their human rights violated. Also the US needs to take care of the problems in its own backyard before reaching into another. The US needs to strengthen itself, and its people before butting into another countries back yard.
