Should Travion Smith be convicted of first-degree murder in the North Hills murder trial?

  • Yes he should

One of the suspects has already pleaded guilty to the murder. I have no reason to believe that he also didn't help with the murder. I feel absolutely awful for that woman especially since she was a mother of 2. I hope everyone responsible for this gets prosecuted and spends their life in jail.

A Wake County jury on Tuesday found Travion Devonte Smith guilty of first degree murder in the 2013 bludgeoning death of Melissa Huggins-Jones. This should ensure that he doesn't escape and commit such crimes again.

  • Yes, Travion Smith Should be convicted of first degree murder

Yes, Travion Smith should be convicted of first degree murder in the North Hills murder trial. Smith was a willing an active participant in the crimes that led up to the murder. Furthermore, he was an accomplice in a heinous murder. Smith should be held accountable for his actions by being sentenced for first-degree murder.

  • Let the punisment fit the crime

If the evidence supports the alleged crime of first-degree murder, let the man stand trial for his crime. The bizarre dichotomy of heavy sentences for silly crimes and ducking out of penalty for serious crimes must stop. Getting to the point of biblical law is a bit extreme, but if somebody takes another persons life, there must be consequences.
