Should Turkey be sanctioned for their treatment of civil servants after the failed coup?

  • Yes, they should.

I believe that Turkey should be sanctioned for their treatment of the civil servants after the failed coup. Turkey had no right to mistreat the failed coup. I believe they have their right to demonstrate and therefore they ought to follow the right procedure to deal with the situation at hand.

  • Yes, they should.

Turkey has done some terrible things in an effort to end the coup. They have made some bad descisions that will hurt a great number of people. These actions are similar to other countries that violated the rights of citizens, and Turkey has done the same in retaliation to the failed coup.

  • Yes, Turkey should be sanctioned for their treatment of civil servants after the failed coup.

Yes, Turkey should be sanctioned for their treatment of civil servants after the failed coup because they should not harm them for what they did. They were simply trying to rise up against a bad leader. What is the harm in that? They saw a way out and they tried to seize it.

  • It was inhumane.

The coup in Turkey was not a real coup. The president himself staged the coup in order to have a way to shut down political dissidents. In turn, he used the coup to find out who the dissidents were and treat them terribly. They should be held accountable so that something like this doesn't happen again.
