Should upcoming mid-term elections in the United States should be focused on domestic policy (yes) or foreign policy (no)?

  • Yes, mid-term elections need to focus on problems right here at home.

Mid-term elections need to focus thought and energy on the problems we are experiencing right here at home. Every developed country is experiencing a high degree of economic unrest right now, including high unemployment and decreased revenue. We need to find solutions to our internal woes before we can effectively address foreign policy issues.

  • Domestic Policy Focus

I believe the upcoming mid-term elections in the United States should focus on domestic policy. I believe our politicians stopped listening to the people and it is impossible to continue to ignore the masses. Therefore, there is no sense in focusing on foreign policy when the people within the United States feel as though their government is no longer working for them.

  • Yes, they should be focused on domestic policy.

The upcoming mid-term elections should be focused on domestic policy. Foreign policy is not that big of a concern to the majority of the American people. The elections should be focused on fixing the budget and reducing welfare. This should be number one on the list of things for the next congress.

  • The mid-term elections should focus on domestic policy.

The upcoming mid-term elections should focus mainly on domestic policy. There are so many problems at the moment withen the United States. These problems include the economy, and the inability for Congress to work together. These problems need to be addressed before foreign policy should be discussed. Despite this candidates should briefly discuss polices on Ukraine, Syria, and Iran.

  • Look internally first

Its pretty easy to see that, regardless of the election coming soon, there will not be a serious reform of domestic anything in the US. Still, domestic policy should be the most important issue, since there are far more fixable issues domestically, and the US is in serious need of reform.
