Should we continue to experiment with forms of government other than democracy?

Asked by: mistersilver
  • We should continue to experiment with other forms of government.

We should continue to experiment with other forms of government. The inherent function of a democracy is to grant a majority of the power to the people. However, national statistics show that this power has been misplaced, and a majority of Americans have a sufficient distrust for our federal leadership. Therefore, the effectiveness of our current government is slowly approaching obsolescence, and the need for an alternative is approaching.

  • We should not continue to experiment with other forms of government other than democracy.

We should not continue to experiment with other forms of government other than democracy. When you experiment with something, there is a chance that the experiment will fail. With a government, you cannot take that risk that it will fail because then you will ruin the country. Experiments on countries usually turn out poorly.
