  • For the well beings of all Americans.

This is a huge issue in this country. We need to make efforts to reduce the gap between the rich and poor. Right now, most of our policies are designed to suit the rich, and give no help to the poor. We all are Americans, and we all deserve the best. It is not your fault that you were born into poverty, and suffer due to that.

  • We need to decrease income inequity in the United States

The fact that the top 1 percent of the United States' population controls 43 percent of all income shows that while the middle class is working harder, and becoming more productive, they are earning a smaller percentage of the revenue they produce. The middle classed needs to be better compensated for the value of the work they produce.

  • We should try our hardest to decrease the gap in income inequality.

I feel that we should do everything in our power to decrease the income equality gap. The better off everyone is doing the better off it is for society as a whole. If everyone has more money to spend because of a higher living than it creates more jobs and a better economy which just benefits it all.

  • Yes, income inequality hurts us all.

When we allow income inequality to persist is shows that we, as citizens, don't care about the well-being of our fellow citizens. It does not help our respective households to have a female family member that makes less than her male counterpart and accepting such inequality also sends a negative message to any female children in our households.

  • Of Course So

Income inequality is horrid in the US and it is time to stop looking the other way. Wages have been stagnant for the majority of Americans since the 80's. That doesn't give much reason for the newer generations to get to work or support themselves. This has created a mess.
