  • We should keep coalition forces in Afghanistan.

In 2011, when President Obama began to pull out our troops, the Taliban and many other terrorist organizations started to take over more ground. The NATO troops stationed in Afghanistan have helped rebuild and protect their society, and now we are just going to leave them alone to take on the Taliban. Although some people think that we should pull out because it puts American lives at danger, without them there to protect us, it puts the whole nation at risk of another 9/11 or even worse. Not to mention that the Taliban would then be able to retake Afghanistan.

Before that, the NATO troops in Afghanistan were helping rebuild and protect their society. • A pointless battle.

We should not have troops in Afghanistan. The war on terror is a war we will not win. Reason being, People are going to hate Americans and some people are going to try to hurt us. It is and will always be a never ending battle. We don't need our young men dying for a war we will never win.

  • We should pull the plug on our Afghanistan invasion.

There can be no true war on terror because terror is simply an idea. If our troops were welcome in Afghanistan and their efforts producing tangible results, I would be all for keeping them there. As it stands we are just wasting young lives and taxpayer money, having soldiers sit in the streets until they are either shot or get in trouble or get sent home. Send them all back and refocus our efforts elsewhere.
