  • Yes, the government should regulate fracking.

Fracking is a process by which you can extract natural gas from the earth. Fracking has allowed the United States to reduce it's dependence on foreign oil, and increase it's supply of natural gas. While I support fracking, I do believe that the industry should be regulated similar to the oil industry to make sure there is no environmental impact.

  • Regulation Needed for Environment

Fracking money should be regulated because it is a business just like anything else. Without regulation, there is illegal activity that occurs. Everything should be accounted for and made public so there are no indiscretions occurring. Fracking is dangerous to the environment so all precautions must be made to avoid penalties.

  • We should not regulate fracking money

We should definitely regulate fracking itself, it has been tied to increased earthquake activity in places like Oklahoma, and studies suggest that we are polluting our groundwater by extracting natural gas with this method. However, once that money is made by those companies they can donate it to political parties or spend it however they want.

  • Let's have energy instead

No, we shouldn't regulate fracking money, because it's unfair to put people out of a viable business just because a few Hollywood stars are afraid of fracking. People in middle America shouldn't let Hollywood convince them that they want to pay higher energy prices because fracking is bad. These people just don't know the facts. They should learn before letting themselves be afraid.
