  • Stop sending troops

Why should it be the U.S. Responsibility to clean up after other countries. It's not fair to the kids that grow up without a mother or father or parents who have to attend their own kids funeral. All for a war that isn't involving us or pertains to us in the slightest. We are hated because we are known as the world police. Isis love scaring the U.S. Because it's making us look weak and we brought it upon ourselves. We send troops over with major restrictions that end up getting them killed. So cut the restrictions and let them do what they can do and finish a war or don't send them at all stop letting Americans die!!

  • Yes, we should stop deploying soldiers overseas (except for extreme exceptions)

Generally speaking, the deployment of troops overseas leads to greater chaos and resentment, as US soildiers overseas often find themselves within complex societies unable to contain warring factions and making things worse. Plus this intervention is viewed as overbearing and offensive by these countries, which leads to greater anger toward the US.

Unless it's an absolute last resort, overseas deployments should be stopped immediately.

  • US Should Not Stop Deploying Soldiers Overseas

No, the US should not stop deploying soldiers overseas as the US, being the world's sole true superpower, must be given the responsibility and role of the world's police. To quote Stan Lee, "With great power comes great responsibility," and the US certainly has great power. To ignore the responsiblity of that power would be a grave mistake.
