Should women be allowed to play on teams with men?

  • Yes we deserve equal rights

Women deserve equal rights!!! Where are we back into 1856? Many girls are strong enough to play intense sports. I know plenty of Women who are stronger than many men and that is not just for the weakest men alive!!! What do you think state your opinion ok. Get over it!!

  • Absolutely, Women are just as fierce and capable

I strongly think women should be allowed to play on mens sports teams because, its stupid to think that women are incapable of being strong because i know a few women who can outrun, throw, jump, kick, and hit a lot better than some men. Women are humans too and they should be treated equally to us men. Their are logical reasons why they shouldn't be able to but if a girl wants to play, let em play and don't judge them because no one is perfect by any means

  • Women Should Be Allowed

Pure and simple, if they show as much or more skill and capabilities as a man then yes they should play. I hear people saying about physical differences in that men are bigger...Well im a man and i tell you what i see plenty of women who are bigger than me and if put in a boxing ring together i would certainly be the underdog, despite not being a small man. If they are up to the challenge, get them in!

  • Yes I think women should be allowed to play with men in sports

I think so because if some women are at the same level of fitness as some guys, then yes they should be aloud to play sports with them. It would help women get stronger and a lot better at that sport. And here are some women out there that are better then guys at some sports. So why not have them play together?

  • Getting hurt alot

I say no because the women might get hurt alot because the men kick or throw to hard and they get the women bruises and broken bones. Also, girls dont have the phyisics to play because some women don have a talent to play sports.Once agian is say no =0

  • Women should be allowed to play on teams with men

Co-ed teams should be available and encouraged. Men and women are fully capable of enjoying team sports together and it may improve the relationship between the sexes if they had to learn to play nicely together. It would also be great for men to see women can keep up with and compete with them and for women to see men are capable of doing some of the things women can do.

  • Women should be allowed to play on teams with men when there is no women's team available in a sport.

Women should be allowed to play on teams with men when there is not sufficient interest among other women to form an all women's team. Just because a women's team is not available, however, does not mean that women should be restricted from pursuing a sport about which they're enthusiastic and would like to learn how to play.

  • If They Qualify

I believe that if a woman can qualify to play at the same level as the men, then by all means they should be able to play on teams with the men. I do not think there are a lot of women out there who could play to that level.

  • Women Should Play on Men's Teams

In many cases, women should be allowed to play on teams with men. Certain sports allow such a mixing of the sexes, but others have barred women from play. Any woman that can compete at the same level as men in that sport deserve to play with them. Otherwise, such sexism serves no purpose.

  • Women should be allowed to play on teams with men.

For years, women have made strides, both literal and actual, in many fields. They're now in the workplace and even in the war zone. One place that they haven't made it into is the field of sports. For years, men have barred women from participating in traditional male-dominated sports, and that's just wrong. That disallows women from perhaps being better than men, and sometimes that's what society needs.

  • Getting hurt alot

I say no because the women might get hurt alot because the men kick or throw to hard and they get the women bruises and broken bones. Also, girls dont have the phyisics to play because some women don have a talent to play sports.Once agian is say no =0

  • Women should not be allowed on male teams. Men and women are not the same in the physical sense.

There are two major reasons ; one are the physical differences between male and female, the other are psychological factors. Physically females have smaller, lighter frames (skeleton and musculature) then males which could make them more prone to injury when pitted against a male Males have hard muscled chests ,larger shoulders, larger heavier, skeletons and greater height then women. Maybe more important are the psychological conflicts having a female on the team or opposing team might set up. The male could be conflicted over trying not to hurt the girl (holding back) and not holding back to win. Also there is the situation of in one on one sports such as wrestling where a male would not want to be beaten by a girl. This could bring on greater embarrassment than a male on male situation. Why invite this conflict? Let females form their own teams.

  • Women and men are different

No, women should not be allowed to play on teams with men. One simple fact that we all learned as young kids is that males and females are physically different. Sports that men play such as football and basket ball are physical. There is no women that will be able sustain a good hit from a 300lb linebacker; most men can't either. It is just not feasible for men and women to be integrated in sports and it is dangerous.

  • Women should not be playing on male teams for physical and psychological reasons.

Males have heavier larger skeletons and muscles then females . They are muscled differently males having larger shoulders and chests and arms, which would make the female an unequal match for the male. It also has been proven that females brains are wired differently females being more intuitive and men more oriented to action. Perhaps more important are the psychological conflicts having a female on the team might set up for a male. The male could be torn between not wanting to hurt the female and therefore holding back and not playing to win or the opposite of hurting the female and winning. Another possible scenario in one on one sports is the prospect of being beaten by a female which could be very embarrassing to a male. Why invite this conflict? Let women have their own teams.

  • Women are weak

They are not as strong as guys so no one would let them play with them anyway. Just go back to ur own league and drop the dream of being as good as guys. We made u ur own league sop be grateful and play like the little wimps u are.

  • It would be unfair.

Although I do respect everybody's opinions, I strongly believe that women would be outnumbered atleast around 11:1 in Pro sports like, for example, Football/Soccer. The US women's national team, one of the two or three best in the world, has trouble against the men's U-17 team. They usually practice against D-II or D-III teams. After seeing that stat I'm not sure that many women who play Pro Football/Soccer would want to be playing with men, simply due to a worry that there will be a lack of placement included. When you look at other sports, like, for instance, Basketball, stats are once again very shocking. Cheryl Ford was probably the strongest, most physical player in WNBA history, and certainly the best rebounder. She's 6'3" and weighs 190 pounds. That makes her the same height and 20 pounds lighter than Chauncey Billups - the Pistons' point guard. For these reasons, I don't see a change coming anytime soon.

  • Lack of quality!

Although the title does seem slightly sexist, it's correct in about 95% of sports. With football/soccer, for example; the US women's national team, one of the two or three best in the world, has trouble against the men's U-17 team. They usually practice against D-II or D-III teams. After seeing this stat, I'm not sure that many women would want to be playing with men, simply due to a likely lack of placements! And in basketball, simple - the size and strength advantage is incredibly lopsided. Cheryl Ford was probably the strongest, most physical player in WNBA history, and certainly the best rebounder. She's 6'3" and weighs 190 pounds. That makes her the same height and 20 pounds lighter than Chauncey, the Pistons' point guard. Although I do respect your opinions, I believe that women would not be placed in teams as commonly as men would.

  • The implications are dangerous

Men are physically stronger. If a woman were to engage in a real sport surrounded by heavy powerful men, that woman would get crushed. To the women who wish to play in men's team, ask yourselves "do I really want a 300 lb sweaty man on top of me?". To the men that claim women are stronger, do you even lift bruh?
