Since we have birth control and sex education, can we cut this abortion thing?

  • It's murder. End of the line.

There is no sugar coating this. Liberals need to STOP doing this. It is plain and simple murder. They claim all this bs about "it's my body not yours" OK? Well that innocent child has it's own body too. It's not yours. It's not your property. That is a living human being. Abortion is the top killer in the United States.

  • You have birth control, you have condoms and contraceptives, you'very been educated.

In Roe V. Wade, the lawyers who started the case, as well as the so-called "Jane Roe" herself and others on their side were historically irresponsible people who were defending other people's irresponsibility. Birth control had been available for a long time. Sexual education had been available for a long time. The female lawyer was Ms. Sarah Weddington. She got pregnant while graduating from law school. She and her partner went to Mexico to have the abortion. And the so-called "Jane Roe" had three kids out of wedlock and was only in the case for herself.
Abortion is only permissible if the baby threatens the mother. If an "accident" happens, or if a woman is raped, she can take the morning after pill which isn't abortion. If that fails, don't kill the baby, put it up for adoption.

All this shit a about woman's rights is fake. There's no excuse for abortion, other than if the baby is poisoning the mother. The government is not "in your womb," if they're saying you can't kill a baby.

  • But what about

Sicknesses that could cause the baby and/or the parent to die anyways? Rape too, and there is no birth control that is 100 percent effective all the time. Also, we don't have sexual education. Almost everything I learned about sex was from the internet. There are so many people, even in America, who don't get sexual education.

  • Rape and the 1%

All in all at the time an abortion procedure would take place the child is no more than an embryo so you are not "killing a baby". Whether you want to get rid of a child do to traumatic conception ( rape or other) or because of an unfortunate accident that you feel unfit to deal with. The embryo has no feelings or memories and its life should not be considered more important than whomever is carrying it. It is THEIR choice.

  • Pro-Life = Anti-Women:

There are some people who do not believe in "God," those who do are the ones who are bi***ing about pro-life. People who don't believe in "God" should be left alone should they not wish to follow "His plan." If they're damned, oh well. I'm not a Christian, but I thought that I would make this argument so that both sides can understand - Christian or not. For those of you who aren't religious to any degree and are pro-life, do you remember the old times when women would die in child-birth? With modern tech, it's obviously very unlikely that it could ever happen, yet weird s**t has happened before.

Ultimately, people, if we are willing to kill people in a different country who pose no real threat to us - and if we have no problem with this war and all - we should have no problem with killing a foetus. Here's another one: History has many phases. Our ancestors killed off many Blacks, Tribesmen, Aboriginals, and so on; so if we had no problem killing THOSE people, we shouldn't have any issue aborting.

  • There will still be rapists.

Abortion is usually done because of accidental impregnation. So if a woman is raped, and she can't afford to raise a child, would she still have to raise it? Or if she is sick, and the baby is likely to be born unhealthy? The fetus cannot feel pain or emotions, so as long as abortion is done early enough, it is fine. Those of you arguing that it is still a living thing, you sound like you're arguing that bacteria shouldn't be killed.

  • What about other cases?

There are many cases where this would be horrible. What about rape? Birth control won't help that. What if the birth control fails. Then what? If the fetus is aborted before it feels pain, and the abortion is to help the fetus, then why shouldn't it be allowed? Abortion should be legal in certain circumstances.

  • Nope, still needed.

Just because we have birth control and sex ed. Does not mean people use them. Clearly, because we still have unplanned pregnancy, we still have people, mostly kids, that fail to use the method of birth control or the knowledge used in sex ed.
In my opinion, birth control should be mandatory. Basically everyone should be fitted with a birth control device prior to reaching puberty. If someone can prove that they would be capable parents, they could apply to have the devices removed long enough to conceive, carry and give birth. This would make every pregnancy intentional and end the need for abortions. Problem solved.
