Statue of Lenin is moved to face Wall Street, a symbol of capitalism: Is Russia moving to a more serious anti-America stance?

  • Yes, it seems Russia has been making some scary moves toward a more serious anti-America stance

Yes, it seems Russia has been making some scary moves toward a more serious anti-America stance. Between the hacking, the involvement in presidential politics, Putin's friendship with Trump, and moves such as this, Russia is becoming much scarier. The anti-capitalism and anti-american sentiments seem to mirror terror groups such as ISIS--another scary prospect.

  • Yes, Russia is moving to a more serious anti-America stance.

Yes, Russia is moving to a more serious anti-America stance, which is why they wanted Donald Trump to be president. They want this country to fail and they knew Trump would be the person to do it. They look at the US as rivals and they laugh over Trump's election.

  • No, I don`t think so.

It is sheer stupidity to put an equal sign between the Soviet Union and modern Russia. These are two different countries with different political and economic systems and ideologies. Don't forget that during the Soviet Union more than 50 million Russians were killed; it is absurd to blame Russians for communist crimes when there were the largest victims of Soviet repressions!

  • Russia is trying to make nice.

Russia is moving closer to America, not farther away. Russia announced shortly after the election that it wanted to mend ties with the United States. They know that the United States elected a strong leader in Trump. They are not going to try to pull as many of the stunts as they pulled under Obama.
