Superdelegates: Is the superdelegate system sufficiently representative and democratic?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • The superdelegate system is not sufficiently representative and democratic.

We should have direct elections rather than the electoral college system. Delegates do not represent the opinions of the people all the time. It's possible for someone to win an election even if they don't get the most number of votes. The electoral college is an anachronistic system and it should be abolished.

  • Superdelegates: Unnecessary and Unconstitutional

Superdelegates are used to allow large population groups to have more voting power than other populations. This allows some people to receive more voting power and representation than others. It also allows larger populations to be more powerful than smaller populations in making decisions that affect everyone equally. Everyone should have the same voting power regardless of their geographical location.
