The ISRO launched 20 satellites. Are you concerned this may lead to a conflict with Pakistan?

  • Yes, I am concered this could lead to a conflict with Pakistan.

India and Pakistan have had shaky relations at best. The two nations have come close to going to war over the disputed Kashmir region on numerous occasions. Both nations posses nuclear weapons as well. The ISRO launching 20 satellites has the potential to alarm the Pakistanis. Pakistan may try to respond in some provocative way in order to save face with India. In short, the IRSO launching 20 satellites has the potential of causing conflict between India and Pakistan.

  • No, this alone isn't going to sway loyalties.

The people of both Pakistan and India already know the status of relations between these two nations. The furthering of the Indian Space Program isn't going to make people on either side switch loyalties and those who remain indifferent will not become involved over this matter. Actions will not arise solely because of these satellites.

  • No, there should not be any concern about the ISRO launching 20 satellites

No, there should not be any concern about the ISRO launching 20 satellites. There is no reason that the launching of these satellites would lead to a conflict with Pakistan. India and Pakistan have a good relationship and the launching of these satellites should not damage that relationship. There will not be a conflict between India and Pakistan.

  • Satellites are necessary.

The ISRO has a right to launch satellites. Tensions are already high with Pakistan for numerous reasons, including Islamic extremism. I do not think that the recent launch of 20 more satellites with make the chance of a conflict any higher. The satellites are necessary, so it is worth the risk.
