The poltitical situation between the Isreali's and the Palestinian's is too complicated for the U.S. Governtment to be involved in. They should not fund or back either side and should stay out of the situation as much as possible. It is not safe or healthy for them to take sides.
The Palestinian Authority often promotes, or at least is complacent to terrorist attacks: like the 13-year-old Israeli girl stabbed to death by a Palestinian. It is inappropriate for the Palestinian Authority to spend money to celebrate the life of someone that committed such a horrific act. Therefore, the United States should stop funding the Palestinian Authority if the money it gives them is used to promote violence instead of helping the Palestinians.
Yes, the United States of America should cut off funds to the Palestinian government due to the fact that they funded mourning tents for a person who stabbed an Israeli 13 year old to death. The Palestinian government has supported or failed to discourage other acts of this nature as well.
Yes, the U.S. should cut off funds to the Palestinian Authority. The original intention of sending them aid was to help build their economy and democratic government. However, the funds have been misused to support corruption and terror instead. We should not be helping them to keep a memorial for the murderer of a child.
