Aaron Rodgers has proven he does have the skill and potential to break the previous record for TDs thrown in the first half of a football game. Whether he will break the record depends on the circumstances in the upcoming games he will be playing in and the performance of the fellow players on his team.
No one can say for certain what will happen in sports. We don't know if Aaron Rodgers will or won't break the record. We do know, however, that it is indeed possible for him to break the record. Once he has come this close it is only a small step to setting a new record himself.
It is amazing that a football player can thrown seven touchdowns in a mere half of a football game. If Aaron Rodgers can do that, what is to stop him from throwing one more? Sometimes for records to be broken, they have to tied first. Aaron Rodgers has the potential to break the record.
The fact that he tied the record probably means that he met his personal best for the season and it is unlikely that he will be able to break it. That number is high and it is difficult to match. Doing so again in the same season would have a very low probability.
