We have a linguistic problem here in answering a negative question. English has no standard form. But raising the price if Epipen is just wrong.
Mylan's CEO does not understand the plight of average Americans. She grew up in privilege. and her father is now a United States Senator. She also makes a lot of money, earnings over $15 million in 2015. This makes it difficult for her to understand how ordinary Americans cannot afford the price increase of this life saving treatment.
It is very disturbing how politicians who dangle their hands in pharmaceuticals can get large financial bonuses. Many other politicians are outraged over the EpiPen pirce hike as well as numerous citizens. I truly think Mylan needs to be point on the spot and give a clear explanation of the justification of the price increase as well as her generous bonus.
I am absolutely outraged that such a price increase could take place. Epipens save lives and many people need multiple pens, one for the home and one for school or work. I can't believe she thought she would get away with this. It's time a group of lawyers or the government stepped in to put her in her place.
The senator's daughter who raised the price of Epipen is very obviously completely oblivious to the struggles of average Americans. An Epipen is not covered by insurances meaning that families need to pay for them out of pocket. However, the high price for makes it a real struggle for many families to afford. An Epipen is a life saving tool though...they are not optional items for people who need them...they are life saving. It is ridiculous how much she raised the cost and made people struggle. With having made $19 million the senator's daughter should pay out of her pocket for the Epipen of every single family or person who was affected by her shameful choice to raise the price so much.
