The Simpsons controversy: Should Seven 11 convenience stores be turned into 'Kwik-e-Marts' and use the Simpsons on promotions and promotional goods?
  • 711 Elevens should turn into Kwik-E-Marts

The Simpsons has broken numerous records, and attained the highest ranking positions of any televised sitcom show. It has been awarded as the longest running show, and the marketing potential for the franchise is exceedingly promising. If they were to form an agreement with the 711 franchise, both companies can be awarded with numerous beneficial outcomes.

  • Yes, 7-11 could use the Simpsons as their promotion.

Yes, 7-11 should be turned into 'Kwik-e-Marts' and use the Simpsons on promotions and promotional goods. In my opinion, 7-11 has the right to do whatever they want as long as they could increase the sales without harming other. They have to make sure that they would use the appropriate campaign for this though

  • This is idiotic.

As far as I know this is copyright infringement. Why should 7-11, a major convenience store chain, be turned into a store from a cartoon? It shouldn't because it makes no sense. "Kwik-e Marts" are part of the Simpsons, which is copyrighted by Fox News Network. Besides, not everyone watches the Simpsons, and if the find that one day their beloved 7-11 was turned into a "Kwik-e Mart", would they like it? I know i wouldn't.
