The State Department's entire senior management team just resigned. Will Trump create a mass exodus that will hurt the U.S. government?

  • Yes, he will.

Trump is destroying the government. It is difficult to see how the US will survive the changes he has made. This country is going to become a shell of what it once was, and many people will suffer Or die because of his actions and his hubris while in office.

  • Yes, he will create a mass exodus.

It is true that Trump will create a mass exodus that will hurt the U.S. government. People who hold different stand from him will be sacked or forced to resign. We have seen what he did to ambassadors who served in Obama administration, and now an entire State Department's has resigned, this is bad for America.

  • Yes, it seems possible that Trump may cause a mass exodus that will hurt the U.S. government.

Yes, it seems possible that Trump may cause a mass exodus that will hurt the U.S. government. He probably doesn't intend to hurt the U.S. government, but he doesn't seem to care if it happens. Right now, Trump seems bent on making every part of the government bend toward him and his ideas, regardless of the cost.

  • It's a good thing.

It's really hard to make government smaller. Really, the only thing that you can do is to starve it. It's a good thing when government gets smaller because that means that there can be more money left in the hands of the tax payers. A mass exodus is a powerful thing to return the balance of power to the people.

From what I read this is standard procedure except that most have a smoother transition and may keep some people on board. That does not mean that I don't believe that Trump will cause a mass exodus (I actually do), however the basis of this poll is exaggerated too much for me to give it a yes vote. If other non presidential appointment staff follows this would be a legitimate concern, however this just proves that they don't care about making sure the government maintains stability (which is scary enough).
