The ultimate paradox (photo is there just cause it needs a photo :) )

  • What happens when Pinocchio says "my nose will grow now". Think about it.

If his nose grows then he will be telling the truth and thus his nose will not grow. However, if it does not grow then he told a lie and it must grow. My conclusion is that his nose will permanently be stuck in a state of both not growing and growing at the same time. This will eventually just create a black hole and swallow Pinocchio. This is more for the fun of just seeing what people say then because it actually makes any sense.

  • (old one, but it's my favorite) If you go back in time

And you kill one of your ancestors before they had kids, then you would not exist. However, if you didn't exist, then you couldn't have killed your ancestor. If you didn't kill your ancestor, then you would exist to kill them! This is one of the reasons time travel will never be possible.

  • Could an "god" being create something so heavy they could not lift it?

If a being is "god" then by definition can do anything... But if he can do anything couldn't he create something they could not do?

If he can not create something he can not do then he can not do something

But if he creat something they cant do he cant do that thing

  • Can God Do Everything?!

Christians believe that God can do absolutely anything. This poses a major question. Does that mean that he can make things that he CAN'T do? If he can do anything, suppose he made a rock that was so heavy, even he couldn't lift it? This would mean that he CAN NOT do everything, but at the same time he CAN do everything, but if he COULD do everything, then he COULDN'T do everything... See what I mean? This is a very old paradox from ancient Greece.

  • Opposite day paradox

If it is opposite day then it will no longer be opposite day but because it is opposite day it is not.
Along those lines the same is with yes and no on opposite day. If you answer a question saying yes then you mean no but that means you said yes meaning you said no and so and so n.

  • What if there was a town with just one male barber?

There is a rule in the town that every man must keep himself clean-shaven either by shaving himself or by being shaved by the barber. Using that rule logic follows that the barber only shaves men who do not shave themselves. The paradox is this: if the barber does not shave himself, then he must follow the rule and shave himself. But if he does that, according to the rule, he will not shave himself.*

  • This sentence is false.

If that sentence is false, then that would mean that it would not be telling the truth, which would mean it is true, which means that it IS telling the truth, and so on. I like that one because at first, no one thinks it is a paradox until they think about it. It's fun to mess with peoples' minds.
