The UN should increase humanitarian aid to poor nations: Is UN better than national government at addressing poverty?

  • Yes, the UN could be a good vehicle for this.

Individual governments do what they can do to help nations that are in poverty. However, it is left for some to do much more than others and perhaps not as efficiently. If it were possible to muster UN aid and have every country contribute proportionately, it would be the best way to address the world poverty issues.

  • Increasing UN aid

I believe that it would be a good idea for the United Nations as a whole to increase humanitarian aid and thereby take some of the burden off both those nations that need the aid and the developed nations that have been giving it already, such as the United States.

  • UN=Genocide, NOT peace

Do some research it's true. The U N is NOT the benevolent organization they claim to be. They are wolves in sheep's clothing. Their goal is to create a one world, global government. They are already doing it....Look at the European Union. Also, they created the nation of "Israel" which is a war machine. Open your eyes.
