Today is the last day to register to vote in Massachusetts. Should people be allowed to register through election day?

    Many states have created the abilty for people to vote through election day. Technology has increased to the point that we are able to track and verify voters instantly . There is no real reason anymore to have a date that people must register by. We should let as many people vote as possible.

Voter turnout is so low in this country that we should be doing everything possible to make sure more people vote. One of the best solutions might be to allow registration on election day.

If people could register to vote on election day, more people may be willing to go and vote. Same day registration is a good way to increase voter turnout.

    People should not be allowed to register to vote through election day, because that would allow candidates to sway the vote. They could just tell people to move to wherever they needed the vote the most. People could register in multiple places and there wouldn't be any way to track the vote. We have to shut down fraud one way or the other.
