Trump claims he would have won the popular vote if illegals were not counted. Is voter fraud a problem?

  • It can be.

The activity of illegal immigrants is a problem in many other aspects of daily life across the nation. It would stand to reason that voter fraud could also be a problem. The voter registration process can only do so much to screen potential voters, but more should be done to prevent fraud.

  • Yes, it seems voter fraud is a problem, but not in the ways Trump claims

Yes, it seems voter fraud is a problem, but not in the ways Trump claims. The U.S. is a large country and the voter system is so widespread and complicated that there is a lot of room for fraud in individual precincts or counties, etc. Likely, it has occurred both in favor and against Trump. The idea that illegal immigrants or dead people actually voted seems unlikely, but an investigation may be warranted.

  • It's always a problem.

There's not a secret that voter fraud is a problem in liberal areas. Even in this election, there were some places in Michigan that had more people vote than they had people eligible to vote. Illegals don't have to show ID in most cases, so they just walk in and vote and no one can say no.

  • Yes voter fraud is a problem but not in this election.

Voter fraud is an issue. However, many republicans have said that there is no evidence of voter fraud. Some states do have a serious issue with voter fraud. But this is not a national issue. Trump is mainly saying this statement for media attention.Trump's own attorney has stated that there is no evidence of voter fraud.
