Trump staffer's secret Russian lobbying: Should Trump be asked to disclose his ties to Russian interests?

  • Trump should be asked to disclose his ties to Russian interests

Yes, Trump should be asked to disclose his ties to Russian interests. When an individual decides to run for president, their right to privacy is no longer the same as that of a private citizen. It is the right of all voters to know who they are voting for and any private interests they may have that could affect national security.

  • Yes, Trump keeping secrets from America

Yes, Trump should be asked to disclose his ties to Russian interests. Whether it may be a positive or negative impact for the United States, the nation should be allowed to know what Trump is discussing with the Russians and what his future plans are. As a potential future president, not disclosing his discussions with the United States would make him an unworthy President.

  • Absolutely, yes he should!

Trump supports Putin. I think it's pretty crucial to know if some of that is based on financial ties. If he's benefiting from a financial relationship with Russia and that affects his policies, we deserve to know it. He or someone in his campaign worked pretty hard to change the GOP's position to be more Russia/Ukraine friendly and it's not like Russia is currently our best bud, so Trump should come clean.

  • Of course, he should, he is running for a public office.

Disclosure of any information relative to any person running for a public position, especially of the United States Presidency for which Trump is running, should not give refuge to a member of his staff . The only reason why a campaigner should shy away from are those involving personal/private issues that do not and could not cause problems with of this constituents.
