Two-thirds of all new HIV cases in Europe are being recorded in just one country – Russia. Should Russia concentrate more on her citizens than events on the international stage?
  • Russia should concentrate more on its citizens

In treating diseases, such as HIV, Russia should concentrate more on its citizens rather than solving every medical issue across Europe or the international stage. Much like the United States, Russia takes on more than I can handle which comes with increased cost that just cannot be borne by the country.

  • Yes, Russia should concentrate more on her citizens than events on the international stage.

Yes, Russia should concentrate more on her citizens than events on the international stage, but so should all countries. In the US, we focus far too much on the democracy of other nations. Why don't we focus on ours first? The same goes for Russia. Help your country first, then the others.

  • Russia should focus more on internal rather than external issues

There are a number of problems around the globe and it seems that more countries should focus on their internal problems as opposed to the problems in other countries. Russia is one of those countries. Instead of helping Assad kill Syrians in their civil war, Russia should focus on curbing its HI epidemic.

  • Russia definitely needs to focus on its citizens.

Russia has always been guilty of sticking its fingers where it doesn't belong. It turns a blind eye to the plight of its citizens and suppresses their ability to voice independent opinions. Russia genuinely appears to be a dangerous country, not only for the region but for the entire world. The truly sad thing is that Russia is a danger to its citizens too.
