U.S. calls on Americans to leave Gaza "as soon as possible." Will there ever be peace in that region?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • No, there will not be pace in the Gaza Strip any time soon

No, there will not be pace in the Gaza Strip any time soon. This is because the two groups that are battling each believe that they are entitled to the land. Furthermore, the international community has picked sides according to each country's own interests instead of in the interest of ending the conflict.

  • No, there will never be peace in the region.

After millennia of fighting in the Middle East, it is very unlikely that there will ever be peace in that region. There is too much sectarian violence and religious bigotry for Middle Easterners to get along and live in peace. Unfortunately, Gaza will continue to be a hotbed of violence; unsafe for visitors and residents alike.

  • No, I do not believe there will be peace in the Gaza region.

I do not believe there will be peace in the Gaza region, because each side fundamentally believes that they are entitled to occupy the area as part of their religious beliefs. Negotiations have been attempted in the past with no success. For there to be peace in the region both sides would have to come together and agree to coexist.

  • Peace eludes Middle East

There will not be peace in the Middle East, particularly between Israelis and Palestinians for the foreseeable future, if ever. The countries surrounding Israel do not believe in its right to exist, making any negotiation impossible. This has caused Israel to take a hard line, fueling a cycle of violence.
