Unilateral US military strike inside Pakistan: Would the Pakistani government tolerate a unilateral US strike?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • They might not

I do not think they would tolerate a unilateral strike because they would be concerned about their civilians being at risk of being hurt by a foreign nation that the their own people would pressure the government to take action. The government may not tolerate it out of concern for their own reputation.

  • The Pakistan government is quite corrupt and would never stand for this

The Pakistani government is incredibly corrupt and currently multiple members of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda reside on the various boards within the government. Why would one of the United States biggest enemies allow a unilateral strike within its own borders and be okay with it? The answer to that question is that they would not and it would cause much more trouble for the U.S. than good.
