Upper oceanic heat transport: Would using this technology truly end global warming?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • It probably wouldn't.

I am assuming that upper oceanic heat transport would take the heat from the upper part of the ocean and transport it somewhere. The ocean is heating up because of global warming, that is a fact and it is bad for earth and the things that live on earth. However, the problem needs to be solved by polluting less and not transporting the heat off of the ocean.

  • No, using upper oceanic heat transport would not end global warming.

There are many underlying issues that cause global warming, such as lack of recycling, as well as air pollution. Although the heat blanket is one of the primary issues that causes global warming, using upper oceanic heat transport does not cure all of the issues in order to truly end global warming.
