US Renewable Electricity Standard: Is a renewable energy standard good for the economy?

  • Agree, only if it's easily updated.

    We need to have standards in place in order to get a reliable metric of just how well renewable energy will do. Such standards will also make it easier for manufacturers to create devices that take advantage of renewable energy, lowering their research and development costs. However, let's be aware that renewable energy is a developing technology, and put into place procedures for updating those standards with ease, when needed.

    yes this will be great for the economy, not in a revenue sense, but in the sense that companies will finally be forced to stop being the looming evil characters of our lives. They will have to take care of envionrment just like the rest of us. They should get no breaks.
