Veal is very desirable to consume, tasty and healthy. Although there has been speculation on the treatment of these calves while raising them. Veal is tasty if it is fixed correctly and properly. Its not usually eatten like regular hamburger meat because it is costly, but for an occasional meal, it is okay.
Veal is a great food. In the past, I stopped eating veal, because of why I read about how the calves were treated. I did not want to support a practice that kept the animals confined and with constant diarrhea. But I no longer am so concerned with the practice. But I am moving toward a more natural, locally grown diet, so veal is even less an option on plate, just an occassional indulgence.
