War on Drugs: Is imprisonment rate in War on Drugs justifiable?

    Most people in jail for drugs are because of marijuana. Let those people go our amount to spend on prisons would decrease a substantial amount. Most people who smoke pot go to jail for possession. Most of them are non violent and just normal people. Pot should be legal and we should people people in prison who are violent and horrible for society.

  • The War on Drugs Has Filled Our Prisons

    The imprisonment rate from the War on Drugs is not justifiable. The justice system was not implemented to stop individuals from harming themselves, it was created to protect people from violent crimes and to protect their property. With non-violent drug dealers flooding the prison system, they simple learn their craft better and come out with more connections.
