Was it Lincoln (no) or the Radical Republicans (yes) that were Yankees?

Asked by: Adam2
  • All the traits ascribed to Yankees were true of Radical Republicans

Lincoln was a fair minded guy. He wanted no war. He wanted an end to slavery. Plus he was from Kentucky (which isn't either the Northeast or South, but more like the Midwest). Lincoln was a fair-minded guy who wanted change for the better. He believed in equality for blacks and an end to slavery. Radical Republicans only wanted to end slavery. They couldn't give two rats *45rs about blacks. They hated them, much like the Democrats. They were both the same crap honestly.

Lincoln is the only sound Republican in history. All other politicians have been cheap frauds. Lincoln is like the one good libertarian in our country's history.

The asker of such a loaded question is really asking for it.

Never mind, I thought "radical" was "racial." It's still kind of a screwy question though.
