Was the Battle of Stalingrad the Most Important Battle of WWII?

Asked by: STALIN
  • Yes it was!

Stalingrad was the turning point of WWII in Europe. It resulted in some 2 million deaths including 850,000 axis casualties. Had Germany won at Stalingrad, they would likely have won WWII. If Stalingrad fell then Germany would have captured the oil fields of the Caucausus and gained access to unlimited quantities of oil.
